About Me
My name is Tracy Ayer and I am a dog trainer based on Cape Cod. My philosophy about dog training is a simple one. Dogs are pack animals and in order to get them to behave properly, you have to communicate with them in a way that they can understand.
I train by appointment at your home. My methods teach you how to communicate with your dog. I am here to help your dog become a Gentle Hound. The first step towards success is to become the pack leader. This does not mean forcing a dog to follow commands, but rather allowing the dog to make the decision to obey because he wants to. I believe that a dog should be part of the family and you should be able to take him everywhere with you.
My training plans are designed specifically for each individual dog. These plans include obedience training, fixing problem behaviors and puppy lessons. These lessons teach your dog how to behave in our world.
